Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust – which runs Salisbury District Hospital – is the largest employer in the city with a workforce of over 4,000 people.

As the community has grown, so has the services and reach of the Trust. Today, the Trust provides a wide range of clinical care at Salisbury District Hospital, which includes general acute and emergency services to approximately 225,000 people across Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.
Specialist regional services such as burns, plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate, genetics and rehabilitation extend to a much wider population of more than three million people. The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre at Salisbury District Hospital covers most of southern England.

Parking - Car parking is available at Salisbury Hospital. Tariffs are displayed on boards besides the Pay and Display machines or Pay on Foot machines (depending on the car park) in all public car parks at Salisbury District Hospital.

Refreshments - There are 2 restaurants at the hospital; Springs Restaurant and Hedgerows, both serving nutritious meals, snacks and drinks. There are also vending machines throughout the hospital available 24 hours a day.
Shops - Near the main reception there is a WHSmith Newsagent, The League of Friends Confectionary Shop and The Stars Appeal Book Shop. There is also a pharmacy shop on the Pharmacy Department.
