Salisbury Public library can be found in the heart of the city, just on the edge of the Market Square. It is free to join; you can borrow books, access the internet and hire DVDs. Regular events are also held and a library card gives access to many online resources, including eBooks and eAudiobooks. On the first floor the library also houses the Young Gallery which brings together five separate art collections including the Young Collection, the John Creasey Museum Collection and the Edgar Barclay Collection.
