Salisbury Shopmobility hires vehicles and aids to those with walking difficulties to make sure they can get around Salisbury city centre and helps people keep their independence.
The Shopmobility vehicles may be hired by anyone who needs assistance to be independently mobile in the city centre and local area, on a short term or longer basis (for holidays or trips).
For those who can't get to the city centre to pick up the equipment, the friendly team are happy to deliver to your bus stop, coach or train station or a location of your choice within the city centre.
You do not need to be registered disabled to use this service. Full training is given to every new member and members of the service are both young and older people.
Registration to the scheme is £10.00. Equipment hire is from £5.00 per visit.
