Whether you want a traditional festive party, or something more original, there are plenty of options for evenings with friends and family or workplace celebrations. And, after Covid put an end to our parties last year, Salisbury's hospitality businesses are raring to go!
Here are some of the Christmas offers in Salisbury this year:
The Old Ale and Coffee House
If you’re missing the ski slopes, head to The Old Ale and Coffee House where their garden huts give a ski chalet feel. Be surrounded by twinkly lights while sat on sheep skin rugs. There's space for up to 12. Why not round off the ski theme by going dressed in ski wear!
As well as the outside chalets, the pub can also seat up to 24 in a group inside, or covered under blankets, under the heaters supping on mulled wine and cider in the Garden House. Two courses are available for £25. Three courses for £29.
For larger groups, there are buffet and canape parties on offer. Up to 40 people will be given exclusive use of the area around the fireplace.

The Red Lion
If it’s something more traditional that you are after, The Red Lion Hotel comes with over 800 years of history!
They are offering:
Christmas Parties with a three-course festive dinner. There is a DJ on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Or enjoy a more relaxed evening during the week. From £22.95 per person. They also have rooms if you want to stay over.
Festive Lunch every day throughout December from 11.30am to 3pm. From £17.95 per person.
Festive Afternoon Tea with a Christmas twist by their open fire. Available throughout December. From £12.95 per person.

Live Escape Salisbury
Forget the turkey and trimmings, for something totally different, why not try a true team experience this Christmas!
Live Escape Rooms Salisbury have just the tonic to the traditional Christmas offerings at their two locations in the centre of the city. Get together for an hour or two to play their escape room Spectre and their pirate-themed experience Pieces of Eight. Enjoy festive drinks in the Plume of Feather’s tavern at The Cross Keys Shopping Centre while solving puzzles and plundering pirate treasure.

Cosy Club
Salisbury’s Cosy Club has a stunning selection of private dining rooms available for hire that are the perfect option for larger gatherings, festivities with friends or a long overdue work party.
If it’s a larger group you are looking to entertain, they offer a private dining room with festive buffet for everyone to share.

Milford Hall Hotel and Spa
It’s party time at the Milford Hall Hotel and Spa in the run up to Christmas!
They have a special Christmas party night offer Sundays to Thursdays, £39 per person or Friday and Saturday nights, £45 per person. The festive fun includes a disco till late and three course meal. Make a night of it by staying in one of their luxurious guest rooms. There is an offer available to those who want to stay following any evening Christmas Party. Subject to availability.
If you are looking for something more romantic, they also offer a Milano infused winter menu throughout December at the Milano Italian restaurant. Lunches are 12pm to 2pm and dinners are 5pm to 9pm.
For something a little bit different, why not book their Christmas wreath making workshop with festive afternoon tea on 7th December. The workshop will last three hours and includes coffee on arrival followed by a demonstration and practical session. £60.00 per person. Milford Hall Hotel and Spa
Bishops Mill
From sharing boards to traditional Christmas dinners, the Bishops Mill has gone festive themed with its menu this year. There is a Festive Burger (with sausage meat patty, Croxton Manor brie, smoked streaky bacon, cranberry barbecue sauce and a sprout slaw - wow!) and even a Gingerbread Cheesecake. Two courses are £21.95, three courses £24.95. Available from 9th November 2021.
If you would rather do some mingling and not sit for a full meal, there is a buffet option. In fact, there is a choice of three buffets, each offering a spread of bite-size, tasty, savoury, snacky treats. There are three festive packages on offer from £9.49 per person. Whether it’s drinks, dinner or lunch, there is plenty to tempt you this Christmas at The Ox Row Inn. They can cater for larger Christmas parties (including entertainment) or smaller groups who want a seated three course dinner over the festive period.

The Market Inn prides themselves on delivering a warm, safe and inviting atmosphere with friendly staff that treat customers like one of the family.
They offer traditional Christmas set menus along with bookable drink packages. There are two and three course menus available to book from November 15th, right through until the end of January for those that have late work celebrations.
All tastes and palates are catered for, including meatless options for vegans and veggies.
