Sample a selection of historically inspired mead from the biggest retailer of mead in the UK. Mead is the second oldest form of alcohol and is made from honey and water. Newly married couples were traditionally gifted a month’s worth of mead on their wedding day, so it is the origin of the word “honeymoon”. We have a selection of historical and modern flavours on offer to taste and buy in our shop, where you can also purchase an entry ticket to visit our castle brimming with history and incredible views.
