On the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Daniel Carson-Johns charts Sir Edward Heath’s experience of the Second World War, beginning on the beaches of Normandy and ending in the heartland of Nazi Germany.

Captain Heath, a member of the 107th Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, witnessed first-hand the horrors of war. Engage in a captivating journey through pivotal battles like the Falaise Gap and the Battle of the Bulge, and gain insight into the profound impact of these experiences on Heath’s life and subsequent political career.

Daniel has an MA in Military History and specialises in the Second World War. As Front of House Manager at Arundells he oversees the day to day running of the house.
